The Department of Sociology was established in 1993 and began accepting students for the first time in the 1994-1995 Academic Year. Our department offers a thesis program to undergraduate students, and our students graduate by completing their undergraduate thesis. Our department aims to provide its students with theoretical knowledge in various fields of sociology and the ability to recognize and analyze various social phenomena based on this knowledge in the best way at the international level.
