Well-educated labor force with psychological training in different fields of social life has greatly been demanded. The department has been established to meet these public needs. The aim of the department is to provide students with methods and technical skills that are necessary in vocational studies in addition to theoretical and experimental information of psychology. Psychologists may work in hospitals, clinics and mental health centers, day-care centers, nursery homes, schools and reformatories, and in institutions related to mass communication, propaganda and poll research centers.
