Two Conferences from the History Department Members at Isparta E-Type Closed and Open Penal Institutions

Two separate conferences were delivered by the faculty members of the History Department at the Isparta E-Type Closed and Open Penal Institutions on October 29, 2025, and November 10, 2025.

In the conference held on the occasion of the November 10th Atatürk Commemoration Day and Atatürk Week, Prof. Dr. Hakan Karagöz, Head of the History Department, discussed the life, leadership, and legacy of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk from a scholarly perspective.

Research Assistant Ali Bulgurcu, a faculty member of our department, shared with the attendees the process of the declaration of our Republic, the political and social conditions of the period, and the importance of the Republic for modern Turkey during the conference organized as part of the October 29th Republic Day program.
