We experience the joy of the Republic with the responsibility and pride of this great legacy.

We commemorate, with respect, longing, and gratitude, foremost the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk—who gifted us this blessed day and adopted the principle, "Sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation"—along with all the heroes of the War of Independence, and our sacred martyrs who protected this homeland and the republic, which was established at the cost of their lives.
