Within the scope of museum studies, coins dating between 6th-1st centuries BC are examined in the researches carried out in Burdur, Side and Yalvaç museums. These coins are evaluated and published within the framework of the International SNG (Sylloge Nummorum Graecorum) catalogues under the umbrella of the Turkish Institute of Ancient Sciences. In addition to SNG catalogues, these coins are introduced to the scientific world by being evaluated within the scope of master’s and PhD’s and other significant studies.

Within the scope of Excavation and Surface Surveys, the coins found in the excavations and surveys carried out by our department and the archaeology departments of other universities are examined. Accordingly, numismatic and archaeological findings are evaluated together and the information about the historical, social and economic life of the city where the coins were found is shared with the scientific world through various publications.
